One Holding The Chalk...Usually Wins! (January
2005)Assortment of plays, drills and ideas to
help your program improve. I
would like to continue with the develop of my team during my first season as a
professional basketball coach here in the Middle East. Today I will take you through
my zone offense and the set plays (ob and half court) that we have put in to date.
If interested to find out if any of this stuff is working, you can follow our
Al Rayyan basketball club progress in the Middle East on this website.
Next
month I will outline our transition game, set plays and half-court man-to-man
offense. Some adjustments, but not as many as you would think, need to be put
in place as we have a 24-second shot clock. Don't
expect too many secrets as I am using my best-selling "Pass Option Offense
and Transition System" and "Jim Saia's 1 - 4 Offense" (currently
the interim head coach at USC and selling well on my site also). Hate to lose
a potential sale on these great selling books, dvd's and videos by giving everything
away! Zone
