| Set
Play vs. Man Defense We start out in double stack, (#5) picks for (#3) to get open out on the wing and (#4) picks for (#2). (#1) makes the pass to (#2) on the wing. |
| 2 Set
Play vs. Man Defense After passing to (#2), (#1) frees himself up for a return pass from (#2) immediately. (#4) after picking rolls up to the elbow asking for a pass from (#2) and / or (#1), but just as a decoy. |
| 3 Set
Play vs. Man Defense (#2) makes a back door cut after passing back out to the top to (#1). (#4) drops down to the opposite block and picks for (#5) to come up to the elbow then (#4) pops out above the arc on the left side of the floor. (#1) passes to (#4) across the top. (Be patient - this motion sells a great play in yet another lob and easy score). |
| 4 Set
Play vs. Man Defense (#5) cuts back down to pick for (#2) to pop back out to the wing again. (#1) cuts right down the middle of the key and (#3) pops down to pick for (#1) looping back around (#3's) pick to get the ball back from (#4) on the left wing. (#4) has time to pass fake to (#2) on the right wing until (#1) comes around (#3's) pick. (#4) passes to (#1). |
| 5 Set
Play vs. Man Defense After setting a pick for (#1) to receive the pass from the wing, (#3) rolls out to the corner asking for the ball (decoy). (#5) will cross up to the strong side elbow to back pick for (#4) who will receive a LOB pass from (#1) for the easy dunk or lay-up. (#2) will come to the top of the key to be there for a release if (#1) cannot make the lob pass to (#4). (#1) will be able to lob pass to (#4), it will be there! If not, (#5's) man switched and (#5) needs to seal off on (#4's) man and roll to the basket along the left side of the key. |
