Zone Offense - Inside Continuity

The zone offense diagrammed here provides good continuity for the inside positions. #3, #4, #5 are constantly moving and filling the high post, medium post and short corner. The #1 and #2 are placed on the wings and will get good jumpshot opportunities.

#1 dribbles to the left. #3 runs behind #4 to the short corner. #2 steps out to the opposite wing. #5 comes high to the top of the circle.

#1 has several passing opportunities. #1 may pass to #3 on the short corner, #4 posting up, #2 on the skip pass or reverse the ball to #5.

If the ball is passed to #5, #4 slides across the lane and #3 sprints in to replace #4. #5 may pass to either #4 or #3 if open.
