Texas Set Play

Ball can start on either side.

(#5) steps out and sets a ball screen for (#1) on the left wing. (#4) clears high and (#2) breaks down to the opposite block.

(#1) and (#5) execute the pick and roll with (#3) moving in to set a back screen on (#5). (#5) rolls to the basket off of the screen from (#3) and (#1) may look for the pass to (#5) first.

Texas Set Play

If the pass to (#5) is not there, (#4) screens for (#3) breaking out to the opposite wing area for a pass and potential shot or drive from the wing.

At the same time, (#5) is screening across for (#2) breaking him out to the wing for a pass from (#1) and potential shot. With (#2) clearing out off of the screening action inside, this creates a clear out for (#3) to drive from the wing.
