#4 steps out and receives the entry pass from #1. On the pass to #4, #5 sets a back screen for #2. #2 cuts either over or under the screen from #5 and looks to receive the ball inside from #4. |
If #2 does not receive the ball, #1 sets a down screen for #5. #4 passes the ball to #5. |
Once #5 receives the ball from #4, #1 cuts back up to the top and receives a handoff from #5. As this action is taking place between #5 and #1, #3 cuts through the lane to the opposite low block area while #2 pops out to the left wing area. |
As #1 comes off the handoff from #5, #4 is ready to set a ball screen for #1. #3 steps out to the corner while #4 rolls into the lane after ball screening. #1 looks to score, hit #4 rolling or pass to #2 in the left corner. #4 works the low post area by himself while the other four players work the perimeter area, looking to pass and penetrate for scoring or drive and kick out opportunities. |
