Box set to begin. #4 and #5 set a down screen for #3 and #2. As #3 and #2 break out to their respective wings, #1 dribbles at either wing player and executes a dribble hand off. |
Here we see #1 has give the ball to #2 on the dribble hand off and #2 takes the ball to the top middle of the floor. #4 moves up while this is happening and sets a ball screen near the top of the floor. #4 rolls in the lane after screening and looks for the pass from #2. |
If #4 was not open, #2 will keep his dribble alive and execute another dribble hand off with #3 on the left wing area. |
As #3 drives the ball towards the top middle of the floor, #5 moves up to set a ball screen on #3's defender. #5 will now roll in the lane while #3 will look to enter the ball inside to #5 from on top or he will pass to the wing player #1 for a better passing angle into the post player #5. |
